The GhostBlind® has been designed not only to give the hunter ultimate concealment but also to make the total hunting experience more enjoyable. Chet insisted from the beginning that the GhostBlind® had to be quick and easy to set up and take down and easy to clean. Make sure to check out the Optional Carry Bag with the "Total Gear Carry System®" which will be available in late February. See Instructional Videos for more information.
How to Carry Blind
First, put 2 included bungee cords around the blind as shown, to keep it from opening while carrying. Insert the included shoulder strap through the handle holes on the side of the blind and snap together the buckle. Adjust shoulder strap to fit comfortably.
Attach Chair or Other Gear
You can use the included bungee cords to attach your chair to the side of the blind. You may also use your existing bungee cords to attach additional gear if desired.
Tie Down Each End Panel
We recommend, you tie down the blind with the included string and stakes. Simply insert the looped end of the string through the holes located on each end panel of the blind. These holes are located neer the top of the panels and go all the way through the mirrors. Insert the string through the camo side and pull all the way through until the toggle ball rest against the backside of the blind. Insert a tent stake through the looped end of string and shove into the ground.
You Are Now Ready to Hunt!
The whole set up process should have only taken a minute or two. You may also want to hang some vegitation or brush on the tie down strings to make them more visible so you don't trip over them. When done hunting or you need to change locations, the take down process is just as quick as the set up.
Cleaning Your GhostBlind®
If your blind gets dirty or muddy (and it will) you can simply hose it off and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use any harsh abrasives as you will damage the mirror surfaces. Make sure to let your blind dry out before folding for storage to eliminate the possibility of mildew. We recommend you hang the blind up for storage by using the port holes.
Tie Down the Center Panels
If needed, you can add additional tie down strings on any of the front panels as shown (4 are included with your blind). Simply lay the toggle ball and string down in the V-Shape area of the hinges. Pull the string out in front of the blind and insert the tent stake through the looped end as shown.
Storage
When your blind is not in use, we recommend you keep it clean and dry. As stated above, allow your blind to dry completely before folding for storage. It is best to hang the blind up by using the observation ports as shown.
